Em discurso de posse ao assumir a presid\u00eancia do Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF), nesta segunda-feira (12), a ministra Rosa Weber afirmou que o pa\u00eds vive tempos “verdadeiramente perturbadores”, de “manique\u00edsmos indesej\u00e1veis”, e citou ataques “injustos e reiterados” sofridos pela Corte. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sem a presen\u00e7a do presidente Jair Bolsonaro, que foi convidado, ela criticou os “discursos de \u00f3dio”<\/em><\/strong>, pregou a separa\u00e7\u00e3o entre os Poderes e defendeu a “cren\u00e7a inabal\u00e1vel na superioridade do estado democr\u00e1tico de direito”<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Vivemos tempos particularmente dif\u00edceis da vida institucional do pa\u00eds. Tempos verdadeiramente perturbadores, de manique\u00edsmos indesej\u00e1veis. O Supremo Tribunal Federal n\u00e3o pode desconhecer esta realidade, at\u00e9 porque tem sido alvo de ataques injustos e reiterados, inclusive sob a pecha de um mal compreendido ativismo judicial, de parte de quem a mais das vezes desconhece o texto constitucional e ignora as atribui\u00e7\u00f5es cometidas a esta Suprema Corte pela Constitui\u00e7\u00e3o”,<\/em><\/strong> disse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Terceira mulher a comandar a Corte, ela ficar\u00e1 no posto por apenas um ano, uma vez que se aposentar\u00e1 em outubro do ano que vem, quando completa 75 anos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
