Segundo a Pol\u00edcia Federal, o governador teria recebido, entre 2017 e 2019, aproximadamente R$ 400 mil em pagamentos indevidos<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

O governador do Rio de Janeiro, Cl\u00e1udio Castro, foi indiciado pela Pol\u00edcia Federal por corrup\u00e7\u00e3o passiva e peculato. A investiga\u00e7\u00e3o em quest\u00e3o apurou supostos desvios de recursos de programas do governo no per\u00edodo em que Castro era vereador e depois vice-governador.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Agora, a Procuradoria-Geral da Rep\u00fablica (PGR) deve decidir se apresenta ou n\u00e3o uma den\u00fancia contra o governador e se solicita mais dilig\u00eancias \u00e0 PF ou o arquivamento do caso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A defesa de Castro afirma que ainda n\u00e3o tem conhecimento oficial do indiciamento. Mas anteriormente o governador j\u00e1 havia negado irregularidades e alegado que as acusa\u00e7\u00f5es eram “velhas” e “infundadas”. Segundo a PF, o governador teria recebido, entre 2017 e 2019, aproximadamente R$ 400 mil em pagamentos indevidos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

O relat\u00f3rio final das investiga\u00e7\u00f5es do caso foi remetido ao Superior Tribunal de Justi\u00e7a (STJ), que \u00e9 quem tem prerrogativa para julgar governadores. O relator do caso \u00e9 o ministro Raul Ara\u00fajo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
