O economista Gabriel Gal\u00edpolo, indicado na \u00faltima quarta-feira (28), pelo presidente Luiz In\u00e1cio Lula da Silva (PT) para o comando do Banco Central a partir de 2025, ser\u00e1 avaliado pelo Senado Federal no dia 9 de setembro. A informa\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 de J\u00falia Duailibi, em seu blogo no portal G1. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gal\u00edpolo ser\u00e1 submetido \u00e0 Comiss\u00e3o de Assuntos Econ\u00f4micos (CAE) e, caso seja aprovado, ser\u00e1 colocado em vota\u00e7\u00e3o no plen\u00e1rio da Casa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Se aprovado, o economista ser\u00e1 o sucessor de Roberto Campos neto, que assumiu em 2021. O per\u00edodo de mandato do cargo de presidente do Banco Central \u00e9 v\u00e1lido por quatro anos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
