Um esc\u00e2ndalo de corrup\u00e7\u00e3o estourou no futebol peruano na madrugada desta quinta-feira (7\/11). O presidente da Federa\u00e7\u00e3o Peruana de Futebol<\/a> (FPF), Agust\u00edn Lozano, foi preso por fazer parte de investiga\u00e7\u00e3o sobre fraude administrativa e lavagem de dinheiro. O mandat\u00e1rio \u00e9 acusado de liderar a organiza\u00e7\u00e3o criminosa \u201cLos Gal\u00e1cticos\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

O Minist\u00e9rio P\u00fablico do Peru investiga desvios de fundos administrativos da FPF. Al\u00e9m disso, favorecimento a clubes e o sistema de venda de ingressos para as Eliminat\u00f3rias da Copa do Mundo<\/a> de 2022 tamb\u00e9m est\u00e3o sob investiga\u00e7\u00e3o. O presidente do Sporting Cristal, Joel Raffo, tamb\u00e9m foi detido.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Agust\u00edn Lozano est\u00e1 em pris\u00e3o preventiva de 15 dias. Segundo autoridades locais, h\u00e1 evid\u00eancias s\u00f3lidas do envolvimento do presidente da FPF no esquema de corrup\u00e7\u00e3o<\/a> e lavagem de dinheiro. As investiga\u00e7\u00f5es sobre o caso est\u00e3o em curso h\u00e1 mais de um ano e o mandat\u00e1rio pode pegar mais de 20 anos de pris\u00e3o caso seja considerado culpado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A pol\u00edcia local informou que a opera\u00e7\u00e3o aconteceu em v\u00e1rias localidades do Peru, al\u00e9m da capital Lima. Mais de 300 oficiais estiveram envolvidos na deten\u00e7\u00e3o de 12 pessoas investigadas por estarem envolvidas no caso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
