Ap\u00f3s receber um \u00fanico tiro no peito, Marcos foi socorrido por uma amiga para a UPA (Unidade Pronto Atendimento) em Araci, mas chegou sem vida \u00e0 unidade de sa\u00fade. O suspeito fugiu logo ap\u00f3s o disparo. Marcos morava no povoado de Po\u00e7o Grande, tamb\u00e9m na zona rural do munic\u00edpio.
